Metis Graphics specializes in creative design for small business and event promotion. For the past several years Metis has created identity packages, ads, brochures and websites for small businesses, and produced graphics for many fundraising events held by schools and non-profit groups in Marin County.

With a broad range of artistic styles and technical skills, Marien Lovett, the owner/designer of Metis Graphics, provides clients with unique solutions that reflect their individual tastes and suit their specialized needs.

Marien has expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Flash, and several other programs.

She began her career in design as a illustrator for molecular biology presentations contracted by pharmaceutical companies. Prior to this, she pursued her interests in the visual arts as a craftsperson and cartoonist.

She also earned a PhD in Comparative Literature and philosophy and was trained as a classical musician: she especially enjoys doing projects which allow her to incorporate her interests in writing and music.
